A steep hilltop residence is more functional, accessible and pleasing, with terraces, curvilinear stone retaining walls and plantings. A level lawn edged with a gently curving wall provides an overlook to a pond. Grassy paths separate garden beds and steps transition through gardens inviting passage through the site.
